May 20
6:00 PM

A tour of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Chemistry Department.

The bus shuttles will take tour participants from their hotels to the Chemistry Department at 5:30-5:40 PM. The main entrance to the new department building is located at Charter and Johnson. We will meet for the tour at the lobby. Larry Dahl and Ilia Guzei will conduct the tour. After the tour the particiapnts will walk to the Memorial Union if the weather cooperates.

7:00 - 10:00 PM

Reception by the lake at the Memorial Union.

The bus shuttles will take reception participants from their hotels to the Memorial Union at 6:30-6:40 PM. The Memorial Union is at Langdon and Park. The shuttles will take you back at about 10:00 PM. If you decide to drive you can park in a parking structure located to your left on Park Street right past Langdon Street. A map will be provided to you at the hotel. I do not anticipate any difficulties parking on campus as the semester is over.
